Smallmouth Bass: These fish are growing in popularity and for very good reason. Muskegon River smallmouth have the potential to grow large in some of the more secluded stretches. Using surface and suspending flies, these fish produce visual strikes. Smallmouth bass fishing is at its best in July, August, and September. We consider smallmouth bass trips to be very high quality float trips.
